Great ideas are born out of necessity and no sooner did I realize that than when I became pregnant. Motherhood is the most wonderful, rewarding, and self-fulfilling experience life has to offer. So why in the world does it have to be so painfully unfashionable? We are already running around like crazy, balancing work, family, health, and any resemblance of a social life, all at once. Before now, a new mom might as well leave her sense of style in the labor and delivery room, because with baby, meant little choices & variety in baby accessories.
That was until I decided to change all that. Last October, I found myself facing two certainties. One, I was indeed pregnant and in need of all the basics, a diaper bag, baby bedding, etc. and Two there was nothing out there that fit my sense of style. It was time to throw caution to the wind and not give into animal prints, gingham or lace.
Hence the birth of Caden Lane Baby, a diaper bag collection that offers a balance between chic and sweet, funky and fabulous. It was all about creating a new look for baby accessories. Newly pregnant, and with a creative eye and unique sense of style, I set out to design the ultimate diaper bag, which later led to designing an entirely new standard of baby bedding.
