Use of the Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE™ is a function of child physical and mental development.
The Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE™ is recommended for most children up to 36 months of age. Simply pull out carrier bar and lock length needed for doorway width.
Our Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE™ has successfully passed all mechanical testing requirements of the ASTM F1004-02A, there were no safety hazards present.
With regards to FHSA regulations, the Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE™ is considered to be non-flammable according to 16 CFR 1500.3(c)(6)(vi).
Our gate has a fully enclosed housing for the mesh gate. Therefore, babies, children and pets are less likely to be able to affect the mechanism, or storage of the mesh. This design allows for a safer and "cleaner" product over the long term.
Unique to our product is the fact that it is a portable soft mesh gate that expands from a 4" to 53" width of usable mesh. It is simple to use, and easily retracts with a twist of the hand into its own housing.
We made sure our Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE™ was designed to retract without "snapping back like a window shade" in order to prevent catching clothing, little fingers, paws or tails in the rewind. With daily use, our product becomes easier and easier to use with one-handed operation. Our product also has a working lock.
When used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, the Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE™ has been tested to withstand pressure up to 200 lbs. The gate width can be adjusted to fit your door width. The securing mechanism is child resistant, but easy for an adult to open and latch with one hand.
If you need to house train a pet, or keep baby in their playroom and away from non baby-proofed areas, including stairwells, our gate can help.
Our Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE™ can be used indoors and outdoors, virtually anyplace you need to set “Off Limits.”
Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE™ is PORTABLE, and can be relocated from one set of wall brackets to another in seconds. This feature allows you to install Additional Wall Bracket Kits at other locations within your home, or install a kit at the Grandparents' house and use the same gate. This ECONOMICAL feature helps make our product a smart choice for our customer.
The Retractable ANYWHERE BABY GATE™ can be completely removed from the wall brackets if desired, although most doors will still be able to close with the mounting hardware in place.
